“Hop To It” is in full-swing at the library. Children’s Librarian, Yvonne Jensen has two programs each week for grade school children. The programs are based on the wonderful world of frogs and stories are shared each week as well as crafts. The library currently has three bullfrog tadpoles in residence that are gradually beginning their transformation to “frog.” Stop by and check them out!

New books in the adult library include “The House in Amalfi” by Elizabeth Adler, “Bedlam’s Edge” edited by Mercedes Lackey, “The Undertaker’s Wife” by Loren D. Estleman, “Star of Babylon” by Barbara Wood, “A Tapestry of Hope” by Stephanie Grace Whitson, “Cold Hit” by Stephen J. Cannell, “Double Your Retirement Income” by Peter Mazonas, “It’s So Much Work to be Your Friend” by Richard Lavoie, and “Lusk Royalty Company” by John Scott Runge.

For the young adult, there is “Peaches” by Jodi Lynn Anderson.

Our junior readers will enjoy “A Bear Named Trouble” by Marion Dane Bauer, “Truck Dogs” by Graeme Base and “Aliens from Earth” by Mary Batter.

Our younger readers will enjoy “Mr. Putter and Tabby Make a Wish” by Cynthia Rylant.

“Eggciting!” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. Storyhour is held every Tuesday throughout the year for children ages three through kindergarten.
