“Distant Neighbors” is the series name of the current Wyoming Council for the Humanities book discussion group at the library. The program has a couple of open spots if you are interested in this once a month discussion of twentieth-century Mexican literature. Four books remain to be discussed in the series. New books in the adult library include “Polar Shift” by Clive Cussler, “Belle Ruin” by Martha Grimes, “Vanish” by Tess Gerritsen, “Life Sentences” by Alice Blanchard, “Crystal Gorge” by David Eddings, “Point Blank” by Catherine Coulter, “Without Mercy” by Jack Higgins, “Divided Minds” by Pamela Spiro Wagner and “Crazy Woman Creek” edited by Gaydell Collier, Nancy Curtis and Linda Hasselstrom.

For the young adult, there is “Eldest” by Christopher Paolini.

Our junior readers will enjoy “The Ocean of Osyria” by Scott Lobdell, “Golden & Gray” by Louise Arnold and “The Wrath of Mulgarath” by Tony DiTerlizzi.

“Ghost Stories” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Storyhour is held every Tuesday throughout the year for children ages three through kindergarten.
