Celebrating the wonderful, wacky March weather is the theme for the second of three RIF (Reading is Fundamental) programs on Wednesday, March 8th 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for preschool age children through 6th grade. Children will experience two stories, “On the Same Day in March” by Marilyn Singer and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” by Judi Barrett along with crafts and a snack. Each participant will receive a book of their very own. If children weren’t able to be present at the February RIF they will be able to select two books to take home to keep. Plan now to attend. The third RIF program will be held on Wednesday, April 12.

“Castilleja,” a publication of the Wyoming Native Plant Society is available at
the library for your perusal. This publication highlights information about native plants to Wyoming as well as many other good bits of information. Stop in and check out this valuable resource.

A new book for the young adult is “The Minister’s Daughter” by Julie Hearn.

A couple of new titles for our junior readers are “Katherine’s Story” by Erika Tamar “Dark Warning” by Jude Watson and “Husky in a Hut” by Ben J. Baglio.

Our youngest readers will be sure to like “Show Way” by Jacqueline Woodson, “Little Red Riding Wolf” by Laurence Anholt and “In My Heart” by Molly Bang.

“Really Red!” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, March 7, 2006. Storyhour is held every Tuesday throughout the year for children ages three through kindergarten.
