Every Thursday at 1 p.m. throughout the summer the library will show a film suitable for children and adults. “Nanny McPhee” will be shown on June 8. Other films planned include, “Zathura,” “The Pacifier,” “A Wrinkle in Time,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Spirit.” When new releases arrive they will also be added to the roster of films.
Saturday, June 17 a Rummage Sale will be held on the library lawn. Proceeds will benefit the Niobrara County Library Foundation Endowment Fund. The sale is slated to begin at 8 a.m. for more information contact Lynn Carlson at 334-3306.
The Annual Book Sale and Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, June 24. The book sale begins at 8 a.m and the Ice Cream Social at 11 a.m. David Chapman will be on hand to sign copies of his book, “The Man Who Carried a Drum.” Plan now to attend and watch for more details!
