Tuesday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. will be a special showing of the film “Miracle at Sage Creek” writer and producer Thadd Turner will also be here and will be available for discussion immediately after the film. “Miracle at Sage Creek” is the story of the Franklin and Red Eagle families who are well known rivals in the lawless western frontier. These two families are forced to confront their many differences as lives hang in the balance when disaster strikes. “Miracle at Sage Creek” is an uplifting Western classic; a story of faith, filled with action and suspense that was filmed in our area.

Saturday, June 17 a Rummage Sale will be held on the library lawn beginning at 8 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Niobrara County Library Foundation Endowment Fund. Furniture, clothes, household items as well as new carpeting and some antique desks are some of the items available so be sure to stop by.

The Annual Book Sale and Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday, June 24. The book sale begins at 8 a.m and the Ice Cream Social at 11 a.m. David Chapman will be on hand to sign copies of his book, “A Man With A Drum.” Plan now to attend and watch for more details!

“Just Listen” by Sarah Dreesen is in for the young adult.

“Now You See Them, Now You Don’t” by Gordon Korman and “Cuckoo Feathers” by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor are available for our junior readers.

Our youngest readers will be sure to like “God Loves Your Nose” by Mark Bernthal and “Shota and the Star Quilt” by Margaret Bateson-Hill.
