Library News

IRS forms are available at the library. Forms are arriving on a regular basis and are available at no charge, except for forms that require copying. The Internal Revenue Service website also has forms to download, http://www.irs.gov, as well as other information.

Thank you to everyone who is bringing in their Decker Receipts. Funds that are raised through this program go towards purchasing children’s and young adult books. Receipts are collected from September 2006 through the end of May, 2007. Thank you also to Kenny Decker and Decker’s Food Center for sponsoring this program.

Recent new books include “Lethal Justice” by Fern Michaels, “Dark Force” by Karen Marie Moning, “Cross” by James Patterson, “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy, “Saint” by Ted Dekker, “Whispers of Winter” by Tracie Peterson, “Flavors with Flair: 75 Easy Designs for Weddings” by Mary Lynn Maloney, “Creating a Safe and Healthy Home” by Linda Mason Hunter and “Projects for Fiber Art Lovers” edited by Virginia P. Stimmel.

Junior readers will enjoy “Take Down” by Rich Wallace, “The Mystery of the Morphing Hockey Stick” by P. J. McMahon as well as “The Perfect Pony” and“Horse in Danger” by Michelle Bates.

Our youngest readers will be sure to like “When Sheep Sleep” by Laura Numeroff, “Texas Zeke and the Longhorn” by David Davis and “The Three Little Javelinas” by Susan Lowell.

“Polar Bear, Polar Bear” is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, January 9. Storyhour is held every Tuesday from 10 to 11 p.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
