The recent renovation at the library is completed! The Niobrara County Commissioners received an energy audit grant that brought some much needed change to the library. The windows on the lower level were replaced and lighting on the main floor and in the children’s library was replaced with energy efficient fixtures. Patrons (and staff) are now able to easily read titles on books and other material. The county, with assistance from the Niobrara County Library Foundation through the Books and Bricks campaign and interest from the endowment fund was able to replace the damaged ceiling in the children’s library as well as repair the cracked walls. Painting was also done. Everyone is invited to stop in and check the work out!
