Curtis Mork, the Lego Guy will be at the library next Sunday, March 10 at 1 p.m. DUE TO WEATHER, THIS HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY, MAY 5.Plan to come and learn about Lego history, view some intricate displays and even do some hands-on! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The annual No-Limit Texas Hold’em Tournament is also on Sunday, March 10. This fundraiser for the Wyoming Public Library Endowment Challenge begins at 1 p.m. at the Niobrara Country Club. Entry fees are $35, re-buys and add-ons are extra. For more information contact Tom Dooper at 334-2013 or Lisa Pischel at 340-0471. You can also stop by the library to register and pay your entry fees.

A new novel by Marcia Muller is “The Bughouse Affair.” It is the 1890’s in San Francisco and former Pinkerton operative Sabrina Carpenter and her partner ex-Secret Service agent, John Quincannon are on two separate cases that eventually connect in a surprising fashion. Then there is the constant interference of the bughouse Sherlock Holmes who hinders, exasperates and nearly outshines both of them with clever detective work of his own.

Other new fiction books are “The Antagonist” by Lynn Coady, “White Dog Fell From the Sky” by Eleanor Morse, “Footprints in the Sand” by Mary Jane Clark, “When the Snow Falls” by Brenda Novak, “Path of Freedom” by Jennifer Hudson Taylor, “Rebekah” by Jill Eileen Smith and “Forbidden Love” by Karen Robards. A new title for the young adult is book two in the Legend series, “Prodigy” by Marie Lu.

New adult non-fiction books are “Images of America – Weston County” by Shelly Ritthaler, “The Love Dare” by Stephen Kendrick and “The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus” by Adam Hamilton.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior titles “Lizzy, the Sweet Treats Fairy” by Daisy Meadows, “Athena the Brain” by Joan Holub and “Stranded” by Jeff Probst. A couple of new easy books are “Friends Forever” by Helen Murray and “Chu’s Day” by Neil Gaiman.
