Plan now for a fun afternoon on Sunday, May 5 learning everything you ever wanted to know about Legos. Curtis Mork, the Lego guy will be at the library at 1 p.m. and will share Lego history as well as display many Lego creations. There will even be hands-on-time! Plan now to attend!

Tickets are now available for the Niobrara County Library Foundation’s Kentucky Derby Party on Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m. This event will feature derby fare and attendees are encouraged to wear a stylish hat! Tickets are $30 and available from foundation members and at the library. Proceeds benefit the Wyoming Public Library Endowment Challenge, with a 3:1 match in Niobrara County.

New non-fiction books are “Petrus Romanus: the Final Pope is Here” by Thomas R. Horn, “How to Make Bits and Spurs” by Robert M. Hall and “Lady at the O.K. Corral: the True Story of Josephine Marcus Earp” by Ann Kirschner.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new titles “The Menagerie” by Tui T. Sutherland and “Mermin: Book One, Out of Water” by Joey Weiser. Also available are “Masters of the Force” by Jon Richards, “999 Frogs Wake up” by Ken Kimura and “The Yellow Cab” by Marcus Pfister.
