Authors to visit library

Several authors will be featured at the library on Saturday, June 23 beginning at 8 a.m. Authors will have copies of their books to sell and will be able to sign copies.

Local historian, Phyllis Hahn will have copies her book, “…And No One Died.” The book is a compilation of stories of experiences of the people during the 2015 historic Niobrara County flood.

Larid Johnson, author of “Yellow Dog Eight” will also be on hand. “Yellow Dog Eight” highlights some of Johnson’s memories working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the experiences and people he encountered throughout his years of service.

Kally Jo Surbeck is a multi-award winning international best-selling author who will have several titles available. Surbeck writes a variety of fiction and always has fun and action in each series regardless if that is fantasy/contemporary.

“Letters From Audrey” was Papa C. Turner’s first published book in 2014, he now has several books available. Turner feels that the human mind is a canvas and his desire is to paint pictures on it with his words!

Jay Em’s Helen M. Pugsley has been passionate about writing since she was small. Her book “War and Chess” started out as a dream she just couldn’t seem to shake. Helen has won several writing awards for her short stories and poetry.

Producer, Dennis Rollins will have copies of the dvd, “Dell and the Yellow Hotel” available. This film tells the story of Dell Burke and the Yellow Hotel.
