The Friends of the Library will be hosting their annual Homemade Christmas Cookie & Candy Sale along with Homemade Soups and Breads on Wednesday, December 6 at 3 p.m. at the library. Attendees can choose cookies and candy that are sold by the pound or from pre-made plates. A variety of homemade soups and breads will also be available. Proceeds help fund Friends of the Library activities throughout the year, including RIF (Reading is FUN), Hey Kids Summer Reading Program, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Dial-A-Story and more! The library is getting new shelving! The main floor exterior wall shelving has been collapsing, so it is time for a more durable product. The library will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 15 and remain closed until December 26. Patrons are encouraged to ‘stock-up’ prior to December 15!
