The Friends of the Library are planning a President’s Day Reading is FUN (RIF) program on Wednesday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m. The puppet show, “Arthur Meets the President,” will be presented by FBLA members. Children will have the opportunity to craft as well as select a book for their own – a snack will also be provided. Plan on attending!


Artist Barb Orr has a winter forest painting planned for Paint @ the Library on Monday, February 10 from 1-3 p.m. Call the library at 307-334-3490 to register as space is limited. The library provides the materials, so come and enjoy a couple of hours painting.

“The Sunflower House” is a debut historical novel by Adriana Allegri. In 1939 in a sleepy German village, Allina Strauss’s life seems idyllic, but her family hides a terrible secret – her birth mother was Jewish. “Bone on Bone: an Orthopedic Surgeon’s Guide to Avoiding Surgery and Healing Pain Naturally” by Meredith Warner joins other new non-fiction titles.
The Lenna Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new titles “Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot Vs the Naughty Night Crawlers From Neptune” by Dav Pilkey, “Quest in Yosemite Park” by Aaron Johnson and the “Danica Panica” series by Kevin Miller. Newer picture books are “Peppa Pig and the Apple Stand” created by Neville Astley, “The Search for the Giant Artic Jellyfish” by Chloe Savage, “Maisy Gets a Pet” by Lucy Cousins and “Puppy Preschool” created by Norman Birdwell.
“Where’s Spot!” is the theme for Storyhour on February 4, 2025. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for preschool-aged children.
