Funeral services for Patricia Ann Eddy, age 43, were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 1993, in the Bader-Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk with Rev. Delbert Dick of Wheatland officiating. Burial followed in the Dellview Cemetery in Manville.

Mrs. Eddy died Wednesday, June 2, 1993, at her ranch home north of Keeline, WY. She was born August 7, 1949 in Gaylord, MN, the daughter of Maynard and Bernie Schmidt-Wendlandt. Her mother died when Pat was 11 years old. She and her sisters stayed with relatives until their father married his present wife, Lorraine. The family then moved to Jackson, MN where two more children were born.

Pat came to Wyoming in the late 1960"s to teach Bible School for a summer. She returned to Minnesota where she attended Jackson Vocational Technical School where she received her degree. She then returned to Wyoming in 1969 to teach Bible School. On February 8, 1970, she married Ivan Eddy in Manville and to this union two children were born.

As a small girl Pat was confirmed in the Lutheran Church and became a Born-Again Christian in 1963 at the Bethany Baptist Church in Hutchinson, MN. She was active in Niobrara County having served as a Chapter Mom for F.H.A. She also was a 4-H leader, a member of the Lusk High School Booster Club. She attended the Manville Missionary Alliance Church and enjoyed cooking for Camp Grace and the NRA National School. Pat enjoyed helping others any way she was able to. She was a substitute at the Manville Post Office and other country post offices. Her hobbies included cake decorating, cooking, sewing and working outside in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice, and a sister, Barb.

Survivors include: her husband Ivan of the family ranch near Keeline; a daughter Ann Marie and her husband Justin L. Stull of Cheyenne; a son, John Joseph of the family ranch; her father and stepmother Maynard and Lorraine Wendlandt of Arizona; two sisters Christene and Cindy and a brother Mark living in Minnesota and a sister Carol of Arizona.
