Manuel Giedd Dies Saturday

Manuel Giedd, 59, of Las Vegas, Nev. and brother of Mrs. Duff Hollon and Mrs. Ed Hesco of Lusk, died of a heart attack Saturday in Las Vegas.

Mr. Giedd was born April 6, 1906 and came to Niobrara County in 1916 where he lived for a number of years before moving to California. He worked in the shipyards in California and then moved to Las Vegas.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2:p.m. from the Peet Chapel with the Rev. C. W. Jervis officiating.

Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. Lyle Eddy will sing "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. A. F. DeCastro will be organist.

Pallbearers are John Goddard, Gaylord Anderson, Edmund Cook, Henry Klemke, John Jassman and Chris Jassman.

Mr. Giedd is survived by his sisters, Mrs. Hollon and Mrs. Hesco, one other sister and three brothers.
