Freimuth Rites Held Monday

Francis J. Freimuth, a lifelong resident of the area, died Wednesday, October 31, 1990, at Box Butte general hospital in Alliance, Ne. She was 85 years old.

She was born March 21, 1905, at Raw Hide Butte, southwest of Lusk, Wyo., to Henry and Mary (Mracek) Mashek.

She married Louis Freimuth on February 7, 1928, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Alliance, Ne.

She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and Alter Society at Hemingford and the I.C. Club.

Her husband, parents, three brothers, a sister and a granddaughter preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Martin, of Alliance, Ne.; a daughter, Geraldine Barta, Hemingford, Ne.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 5, 1990 at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church, in Hemingford, with the Rev. Walter Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Hemingford Cemetery.

The Rosary was recited on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at the church.

Memorials may be given to St. Bridget's building fund, St. Agnes Academy, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Bates-Landa Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
