Little Ellan Mashek
Little Ellan Mashek, little two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mashek, living about thirty miles north west of Hemingford, died Saturday August 14th.
Little Ellan has been ill for several weeks. She was always a delicate child, and the last ravages of sickness were more than she could stand. Every effort was made to keep the spark of life burning in the little body, but to no avail.
The funeral services were held Monday from the local Congregational Church with Rev. Cox officiating, and interment was in the local cemetery.
