C. Pinkerton Dies Monday

Clarence Pinkerton, 68, of Manville died Monday in Veterans Hospital in Cheyenne of an Asthmatic condition.

Funeral services will be held from the Peet Chapel today at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the Manville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; one son, Clarence Orville; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Ladwig all of Manville; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Bedford of Bell Gardens, Calif., Mrs. Alice Gutherie and Mrs. Eda Brummett of Loveland, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

Pinkerton Funeral Is Held Thursday

Funeral services were held for Clarence Pinkerton, 68, last Thursday from the Peet Chapel with the Rev. Frank Bozart of the Open Bible Church officiating.

Mr. Pinkerton of Manville died in the Veterans Hospital in Cheyenne May 4 of an asthmatic condition.

Burial was in the Manville Cemetery with the VFW conducting graveside services.

Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist. Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "God Will Take Care of You."

Pallbearers were: Albert Heine, Edwin Tschacher, Bert Kaper, Harold Ladwig, Jack Lamb and Bill Ladwig.

Clarence Asa Pinkerton was born at Manville June 15, 1895 the son of William S. and Minnie Pinkerton. He received his education in the Manville schools and attended business college at York, Neb. He also took a course in the Lincoln Auto and Tractor School in Lincoln, Neb.

He served two and one half years in the army during World War I. He and Florence M. Bedford were married January 7, 1920.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Ladwig of Manville; one son, Clarence Orval of Manville; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Bedford of Bell Gardens, Calif., Mrs. Alice Guthrie and Mrs. Eda Brummett of Loveland, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
