Cecil Rogers Sims
Cecil Rogers Sims, age 100, died May 13, 2002. Mr. Sims was born October 8, 1901 in western Nebraska and was a former resident of Manville.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Pauline; two daughters, Marilyn J. Miller of Denver, Colo. and Zaidee E. (Jim) Williams of Flippin, Ariz.; a son Arthur R. (Pam) of Haslett, Mich.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, Zachary Sims and Korri and Kara Rogers; two sisters, Edna Fullerton of Loveland, Colo., and Delberta Simpson of Cheyenne.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 17, at 11 a.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2400 E. Lake Lansing Road, East Lansing, Michigan, with Pastor Gary D. Bondarenko officiating.
Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Crestwood Cemetery, Flint, Mich.
