David Lee Sorenson, Infant Son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Sorenson, Laid at Rest Monday in the Lusk Cemetery

Death came quietly to tiny David Lee Sorenson infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett L. (Bud) Sorenson of Newcastle and Lusk, Saturday morning, April 7th, at seven o'clock, in the home of the infant's maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Taylor.

The child had submitted to surgery in Children's Memorial hospital in Omaha, Nebr., a year ago this month (April) and had been in failing health since that time. At the time of his demise, he had attained the age of one year, two months and 16 days.

Last rites were held at ten o'clock Monday morning, April 9th from the chapel of the Peet Funeral Home with Father M. J. McBrian, of St. Leo's Catholic Church officiating. Adding to the solemnity of the services was the impressive interpretation of "Little Pink Rose" and "Brahms Lullaby," by Mrs. C. J. Stafford with Mrs. Judson P. Watson accompanying at the organ. Burial was in the family plot in the Lusk cemetery.

David Lee Sorenson was born January 18, 1955 in the Lutheran Hospital in Hot Springs, So. Dak., the second child of Everett L. and Barbara J. (Taylor) Sorenson. He returned with his parents to Newcastle, Wyo., where until the last several months, when they moved to Lusk, they had made their home.

Other than his parents, he leaves to mourn his passing, one brother, Larry Bob, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Taylor of Lusk, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Sorenson of Newcastle, two great grandmothers, Mrs. Lydia Taylor of Lusk, and Mrs. Otto Larson of Tyler, Minnesota, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

15 Month Old David Sorenson Dies Sat.

David Lee Sorenson, 15 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Sorenson of Newcastle, died Saturday morning at the home of its grandparents in Lusk. The child had been in failing health following an operation one year ago in Omaha.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. from the Peet Chapel with Father M. J. McBrien of St. Leo's Catholic Church of Lusk officiating. Burial was made in the family plot in the Lusk cemetery.

Mrs. C. J. Stafford sang "Little Pink Rose" and "Lullaby". Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

David Lee Sorenson, son of Everett and Barbara Sorenson was born January 18, 1955 in Hot Springs. He is survived by his parents, one brother, Larry Bob of the family home and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Taylor of Lusk; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Sorenson of Newcastle and two great grandmothers, Mrs. Lydia Taylor of Lusk and Mrs. Larson of Tyler, Minn.
