Mary Fahy Dies in Torrington Oct. 17

High mass was held at 10:00 Tuesday morning at St. Leo's Catholic Church of Lusk for Mary Fahy of Torrington who died there Saturday afternoon from a lingering illness.

Celebrant of the Mass was the Rev. Robert O'Neill from Elm Creek, Neb., with the Rev. Paul Hellrung of Torrington, giving the funeral oration and the Rev. Leo Morgan of Torrington reciting the graveside prayers. The Rev. M.J. McBrien of Lusk assisted in the services.

Mary Foy Fahy was married to John Fahy in January, 1883. In 1885 the couple moved to Nebraska residing there until 1914, then moving to the Flattop community to live on a homestead. The family lived there, at Denver, and Chadron until about 11 years ago, then moving to Torrington.

Altar boys for the funeral services were Jerry McFarlane and Freddie Guibault. Casket bearers were Dick David, Willis Fahy, Harold Foy, Edward Hughes, John Hughes and Elmer Johnson. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. E.S. Starrett and Mrs. Kenneth Hughes of Flattop; Mrs. E.W. Beabout and Mrs. R.H. Whitfield of Torrington.
