John E. Thompson

John E. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Thompson, died at the home, 23 miles northwest of Harrison, on January 18, 1929, at the age of 62 years, 3 months and 18 days, after an illness of 14 months.

On Nov. 27, 1887, he was united in marriage with Miss Ada Myers of Eldora, Iowa. To this union nine children were born, three of whom are living, namely, Mrs. F. A. Brenner of Warren, Wyo.; Lloyd Thompson of Gowrie, Iowa, and Fred Thompson of Eldora, Iowa.

About two years ago Mr. and Mrs. Thompson moved to Wyoming and settled northeast of Harrison.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his widow, his aged mother, a sister, Mrs. Ethel Perkins of Wirt, Minnesota; a brother, Ed Thompson of Hillman, Minn., and three above mentioned children.

The deceased was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge since 1904.

Services, in the presence of relatives and many friends, were held on Monday afternoon at the Midwest Funeral Parlor in Lusk, with Rev. S. C. Cadle officiating.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
