Wyome Bourret
Wyome Bourret, age 85, of Eckert, Colorado, formerly of Lusk, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2000, in Colorado. A memorial service was scheduled for August 19 at the Lusk Cemetery with Father Pat Shea officiating.
Wyome was born on December 17, 1914, in Lusk to John and Louise Lipke Alter.
She attended school in Lusk.
She married Don Keys in 1933. He died in 1968.
Wyome enjoyed rock hunting, golfing, oil painting, antiques and gardening. She married John Bourret in 1970. He died in 1983.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Donald Keys, and one brother Delmar Alter.
Wyome is survived by her son Gene Keys of Manville, Wyoming' daughter, Avanell Howe of Hotchkiss, Colorado; one sister Avanell Hodgson; stepsons; Dennis Bourret and Chris Bourret; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Niobrara Senior Center or the Stagecoach Museum in Lusk.
Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of the arrangements.
