Bernice Nier, 26, Dies Following Major Operation
Mrs. Bernice Nier, 26, wife of Donald Nier of Lusk, passed away at the Lusk Hospital Thursday, April 6th, at 10:00 p.m. following a major operation she underwent Wednesday morning, from which she failed to rally.
Survived by Mrs. Nier are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kinney, of Lusk, three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Ralph McFarlane, of Lusk, Mrs. Eli (Levi) Shaffer, Miss Doris Kinney, and Ambrose Kinney, all of Lusk.
Funeral services were held at the Peet Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 10th, in charge of Father Bernard of Douglas. Music was furnished by a mixed chorus composed of Mrs. F. A. Barrett, Mrs. Bert Gibson, Mrs. Bonnie Updike, and Misses Pauline and Elizabeth Bruch. Pallbearers were O. N. Case, Calvin Miller, Charles Vermule, Ozro Penfield, Robert Black, and Robert Stigile.
