SERVICES FOR LOUIS SCHUTT HELD MOND.

Funeral services for Louis Schutt, 62, of Keeline, were held from the Peet chapel on Monday afternoon, January 29.

Mr. Schutt passed away at the Lusk Hospital on Thursday, January 25, from a heart ailment of only a few weeks' duration.

Rev. Lawrence P. Juell was in charge of the services and music was furnished by Dan Christian and Grave Ellen Wilson, who sang "In the Garden" and "Softly and Tenderly." Mrs. J.P. Watson presided at the instrument.

The casket bearers were Frank Mahnke, Roy Elkins, Nels Mariegard, Eddie Marks, Ralph Marks and Leonard Seegrist.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.

OBITUARY
Louis Schutt was born on August 7, 1882, in Lancaster, Neb., the son of Carl and Dorothy Schutt. He passed away January 25, 1945, at 5:30 a.m., at the Lusk Hospital. He was 62 years, 5 1/2 months old. His childhood days were spent in David city, Neb., where he gained his education in the public schools. On February 18, 1903, he was united in marriage with Martha Bethke. To this union nine children were born, five boys and four girls. One daughter passed away in infancy. About 23 years ago the family settled in the Van Tassell country. They have lived in this general vicinity most of the time until about six years ago when they moved to the Keeline community, where they have since lived.

He leaves his wife, five sons and three daughters: a son, Florn, is in the armed service; two sons, Arich and Vern, and two daughers, Noreen and Alice, who is now Mrs. Ernest Rawland, live at Pasadena, Calif.; a son, Marion, at Shawnee, Wyo.; Carl, who lived at home, and Mrs. Alna Densborn of Lusk. Also he leaves three brothers, Charles of Kearney, Colo.; William of Bellwood, Neb., and Henry of Columbus, Neb.; also three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mr. Schutt was baptized in the Lutheran Church. He was a good neighbor and a jovial friend.
