Funeral Services for Mrs. Burge Are Held Sunday

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Mary Burge from Peet Chapel with Rev. Otha B. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "Shall We Meet at the River" and "Beautiful Garden of Prayer." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

Casket bearers were L. T. Bonner, Emerson Bonner, Gilbert Brinckerhoff, Thomas Neilson, Frank Taylor and Emil Klemke.

Mary Lorena Pratt was born in Fayette County, Iowa March 1, 1876. She was the second child in a family of seven children. In 1892 she was married to William F. Burge at Ainsworth, Nebr. They were the parents of 13 children. They are Marion, Wenatchee, Wash.; Manuel, Chico, Calif.; Alta Seeley, Topeka, Kan.; Bryan, Lusk; Ellen Gunn, Kingsdown, Kan.; Orville, Roseburg, Ore.; Clem, Scottsbluff; Goldie, Conn. and Edna Hong, Sutherlin, Ore.; William, Roseburg, Ore.; Bernice Parr, Sutherlin, Ore. and Doris Paisley, Casper.

Survivors include her 12 children; 35 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Mabel Pratt, Ainsworth, Nebr.

Her husband, one son, one sister and four brothers previously died.

Mother of Local People Dies Tues.

Mrs. Mary Lorena Burge, 80, mother of Bryan and Clem Burge and Mrs. Calvin Paisley, died Tuesday morning at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital from complications of old age. Funeral services are to be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet chapel with Rev. Otha B. Holcomb officiating. Burial will be made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Survivors include six sons, Manuel, Chico, Calif.; Marion, Wenatchee, Wash.; Orville and William, Roseburg, Ore.; Clem, Scottsbluff; Bryan, Lusk; and six daughters, Mrs. Alta Seely, Topeka, Kan.; Mrs. Ernest Gunn, Kingsdown, Kan.; Mrs. Marvin Conn, Mrs. Kenneth Hong and Mrs. Dean Parr, Sutherlin, Ore.; and Mrs. Calvin Paisley, Casper; also one sister, Mrs. Mabel Pratt, Ainsworth, Nebr.

Her husband, one son, one sister and four brothers previously died.
