Sarah E. Barnes

Sarah E. Barnes of Crawford, Neb., died Wednesday, June 19, 1985 at Ponderosa Villa. She was 97.

Mrs. Barnes was a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors War Mothers and a member of the Baptist Church, both in Lusk.

She is survived by two sons, Jackson of Omaha, Neb., and Fay of Kelseyville, Calif.; two daughters, Frances Wagon of Sacramento, Calif., and Dorothy Hutchinson of Oak, Neb.; a son-in-law, Lawrence Adams of Van Tassell, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, June 22, at the Methodist Church in Harrison. The Rev. Alan Davis and the Rev. Don Mathis officiated. Burial was in Harrison Cemetery.

Memorials for the Crawford Hospital or Methodist Church in Harrison may be sent in care of the Crawford State Bank.

Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford handled arrangements.
