Earl Shatto Dies in Casper May 21
Earl E. Shatto, 59, former long time Lusk and Douglas resident died May 21, in the Natrona Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at the Stark Mortuary in Douglas.
Mr. Shatto was born March 25, 1904, at Kirtley, where he attended rural schools. He married the former Mildred L. Dye September 9, 1924 at Lusk.
For several years they farmed in the Kirtley area, then moved to Douglas where he worked as a mechanic and salesman at the Chevrolet garage. He and Mrs. Shatto moved to Casper a year ago.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Maurice Schirmer, Verndale, Calif., Mrs. Miller Brogon, Rawlins, Mrs. Warren George, Sage Creek and Mrs. Clarence Ramseier, Douglas. A son Earl Shatto of Douglas; a brother, Clarence McDermott of San Ysidro, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hogg, Mrs. Ruby Shatto and Mrs. Ida Thomas, all of San Ysidro, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
