Mother of Mrs. Barrett Dies in Omaha Saturday
Word of the death of Mrs. Catherine Donahue of Omaha, Nebr., mother of Mrs. Frank A. Barrett, was received by the family Saturday evening, when they returned from Rawlins, Wyo., where they had attended the wedding of their son, James E. Barrett, that day.
Congressman and Mrs. Barrett and Miss Marialyce Barrett left early Sunday morning for Omaha.
Mrs. Donahue had been in failing health for several years and Mrs. Barrett had spent considerable time with her mother during her illness.
It is understood that funeral services were held on Tuesday morning.
Note: This was typed as printed. However, information in Mrs. Barrett's obituary indicates the spelling "Donoghue", which is what has been used for this database.
