Isabelle Buck Dies Monday, Aged 65

Isabelle Augusta Buck, 65, died June 30, at 11 p.m., at her home in Lusk as a result of a chronic heart ailment.

Mrs. Buck, the wife of Victor H. Buck, had lived in Lusk for years. The past nine months she has been bed-ridden, spending some time in the Lusk Hospital. About a month ago she was taken home, where she stayed until her death.

Funeral services will be held at the Peet Mortuary. Final arrangements are pending the arrival of her daughter, Mrs. Alva Brady, of Mountain Home, Idaho. Interment will he made in the Lusk Cemetery.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Buck is survived by two sons, Phillip and Charles of Lusk; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Olafson of Walthill, Neb., and Mrs. Alva Brady of Mountain Home, Idaho; and one brother, Harry Clifton of Lusk.

War Mother Service For Isabelle Buck

An American War Mothers service was given at the funeral of Mrs. Isabelle Buck Saturday morning, July 5, at 10 o'clock at the Peet Mortuary. The Reverend William Sherk officiated.

Mrs. Buck died June 30 at her home from the results of a chronic heart condition. She had been bed ridden for nine months and a patient at the Lusk Hospital for several months of that time.

Mrs. Pete Bridge and Mrs. J. W. McCleerey directed the War Mothers service. Mrs. John Bryant acted as chaplain.

Singing were the Misses Neoma Taylor and Minette Watson. Mrs. J.P. Watson was organist. Songs were "In the Garden", "Rock of Ages" and "Abide with Me."

Pallbearers were Eddie Marks, Louis Murcis, Claude Crittendon, Matt Bass and Sydney Shockley.

Interment was at the Lusk cemetery. Miss Watson sounded taps.

Isabelle Augusta Clifton was born at Grenta, Nebraska, July 29, 1881, the daughter of Henry and Isabelle Clifton. She resided in this community until her 18th year when the family moved to Dakota County, Nebr.

She married Victor H. Buck, January 28, 1907, at Dakota City, Nebr. To them were born Mary, Phillip, Charles, Nellie and Alva. Nellie preceded her mother in death in 1938.

In 1931 the family moved to Lusk where they have lived since.

Mrs. Buck died June 30 at her home at the age of sixty five years, eleven months, one day, after several years of poor health.
