Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Alex Frosheiser Monday

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of the Peet Funeral Home for Katharina Marie Frosheiser, who died in the Niobrara Memorial Hospital June 29. She was 70 years old at the time of death.

The Rev. F. C. Doctor officiated at the services. Mrs. Samuel M. Thomas and Miss Phyllis Johns sang, "Be Still My Soul" and "There is an Hour of Peaceful Rest." Miss Geraldine Klemke presided at the chapel organ. Pallbearers for the services were Leo Heins, James Ringer, Sr., William Ladwig, Frank Demmer, Henry Lenz and Charlie Heumier. Honorary casketbearers were Henry Amend and Jake Salak. Burial was made in the Lusk cemetery.

Katharina Marie Dreuth was born January 11, 1891 in Beldeck, Russia. She was baptised in infancy and confirmed in 1896 in the Lutheran faith at the age of 15.

She was married to Alexander Frosheiser March 1, 1905. The couple came to the United States of America on Dec. l7, 1905 and resided at Lincoln, Nebr., for the next five years. In 1910, they came to Wyoming taking up a homestead in the Keeline community. In 1948 Mr. and Mrs. Frosheiser retired from the ranch to a home in Lusk.

Survivors include: her husband, Alexander Frosheiser; eight children, Conrad Frosheiser, Cody; Mrs. Uno Korhonen, Torrington; Alex Frosheiser, Jr., Lance Creek; George Frosheiser, Newcastle; Fred Frosheiser, Perham, Minn.; Mrs. Ralph T. Lingwood, Lusk; Minnie Frosheiser, Cheyenne; Katherine Frosheiser, Lusk; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

One daughter, Amelia, preceded her mother in death in 1937.
