Vicki Lynn (Hagerman) Fuller

Vicki Lynn (Hagerman) Fuller, 62, of New Caney, Texas, passed away at MD Anderson Medical Center on Oct. 18, 2010 from lung cancer.

Vicki was born Oct. 28, 1947, in Billings, Montana, and was the only child of Earl W. Hagerman and Gladys Christian Hagerman.

She and her parents lived in Upton, Wyoming until 1955, at which time they moved to Greybull, Wyo. Upon graduating from Greybull High School in 1965, she attended her freshman year at Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. She then entered the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo., in 1966 receiving a BA in Elementary Education and a BA in Music in 1969. She was employed by the Cody Public Schools in Cody, Wyo, teaching second grade from 1970-1973, and remedial reading in grades 1-6 from 1973-1976. During the interim, she received her MA in Developmental Reading in 1972 from the University of Northern Colorado.

She made her home in New Caney, Texas, in 1978. In 1980, she entered the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas, earned her JD and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1983. She became an associate attorney with the law firm of Glynn D. Nance and Associates in Houston, and later went into private practice until her retirement in 1995.

Playing the piano, photographing, oil and watercolor painting, golfing and swimming were among her favorite pastimes. She cherished the time she spent with her loving husband, family and friends and was immensely proud of and interested in each one.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Michael E. Fuller, her two stepsons and daughter-in-law Kelly Fuller of Dallas, Texas, Courtney and Stacey of San Antonio, Texas, and two granddaughters Lyndsey and Olivia Fuller, her Uncle Bill and Aunt Pauline Hagerman of Upton, Wyoming, her Uncle Charles and Aunt Viola Hagerman of Upton, Wyoming, numerous cousins and many friends.

She was a member of the Texas State Bar and the Kingwood United Methodist Church in Kingwood, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday Oct. 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Lusk, Wyo. The address is 120 East 5th.

Burial will be at the Lusk Cemetery, Lusk, Wyo.
