Nelsena Park Early Resident of Kirtley
Mrs. Nelsena C. Park, sister of three local men, who died at Coeur d'Alene, Ida., July 18, was an early Kirtley resident. She was born at Gray, Iowa 73 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian L. Christian who came to the Kirtley community in 1890.
She married Morey A. Park at Kirtley Nov. 25, 1909 and they later moved to Wilmington, Del. In 1951 they moved to Coeur d'Alene. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Survivors are her husband; two sons; M. Austin Park, Kellogg, Ida., and Rollin J. Park, Miami, Fla.; four sisters; Mrs. Florence M. Wormwood, Glendo, Wyo., Mrs. Mabel Wilson, Ashville, N. D.; Mrs. Jennie Mayer, Price, Tex., and Mrs. Freida Eshelma, Whittier, Cal.; three brothers; Andrew and Ray Christian of Lusk and James Christian of Harrison; and six grandchildren.
Survivors also include a niece, Miss Veda Nicodemus, who has been nursing in foreign missions at Kenya, British East Africa for 20 years. She has been with her aunt for some time.
Funeral services were held at Coeur d'Alene July 20.
