Obituary

This obituary, published in the Manville News, is courtesy of the Wyoming Newspaper Project.

William Charles Fosher, was born in Casper, Wyoming, August 14, 1902. From there he with his parents moved to Nebraska in 1909, and from there they moved to Manville and have lived since until his death on the 23rd day of June, 1920.

He was a fine young man and had many friends and associates. To know him was to love and honor him.

Just a few days before his death Rev. C. L. Franks visited him taking several of William's school mates to see him. He told Rev. Franks that he was ready for his Saviour. This indeed is a comfort to him parents.

After sitting up a short while he passed away quietly, from his mother's arms, where he died, to the bosom of his Saviour.

Dust to its narrow house beneath.
Soul, to its place on high,
They who have seen thy look in death
No more may fear to die.

The funeral services were held in the Methodist church by Rev. C. L. Franks, and interment made in the Manville cemetery.

Note: The name on the gravestone is Charles, in his father's obituary it is Charles Thomas, in his brother's obituary it is Thomas.
