Isabelle Hammell Of Spencer Dies

Following an illness of about three weeks duration, Mrs. Isabelle Hammell, passed away March 10th at the Spencer hospital.

Mrs. Hammell, the wife of James T. Hammell, made her home on a ranch in the Spencer community for about forty years. She was sixty-five years of age at the time of her demise.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Hammell is survived by two sons, Harold and Thomas and one daughter, Mrs. Doris Bolin of Kelso, Wash., seven grandchildren, three sisters in England and a brother living in Canada. Mrs. Bolin arrived last Saturday to attend final rites for her mother.

Funeral services were planned for Monday of this week but owing to the blizzard, some of the relatives were unable to reach Lusk, and services were postponed until Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock. Final rites were conducted by Rev. M. H. Marshall.

Pall bearers were Tom Wilson, Ted Rumney, Anrew Sedgwick, Tom Rennard, Clyde Zimmerman and Ed Arnold. Mrs. H. J. Templeton, Patricia Taylor, Donald Lee Taylor and Gerald Bardo sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and Mrs. Templeton sang "The Holy city" as a solo. Mrs. Judson P. Watson acccompanied both selections. Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
