Wednesday, September 17 the library will present a living history program featuring Tom O’Day and Bronco Nell portrayed by Ray and Jackie Maple. O’Day ran with Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch and Bronco Nell was among the last of the women to be incarcerated in the Rawlins penitentiary. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.
Monday, September 24 the second film in the “Play to Film” series will feature “Harvey” at 6 p.m. at the library. This classic film is 112 minutes and the evening features a light meal and Deane Tucker, PhD will facilitate discussion that will include the Wyoming Women’s Center. A new suspense book is “You Don’t Want to Know” by Lisa Jackson. Since her son, Noah, went missing two years ago Ava has spent most of the time in and out of mental institutions. New adult non-fiction books are “Marilyn: the Passion and the Paradox” by Lois Banner, “Where Does My Horse Hurt?” by Renee Tucker, DVM and “Spy the Lie: Former CIA Officers Show You How to Detect Deception” by Philip Houston.
