Plan to attend the Wyoming Piatigorsky Spring 2026 Tour featuring mezzo-soprano Katherine Calcamuggio Donner and pianist Gabriel Evens in Lusk on Tuesday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Congregational Church, 120 E 5th Street and is a free event that is sponsored by the Muriel & Seymour Thickman Family Charitable Foundation and coordinated by the Wyoming Arts Council and the Niobrara County Library.

The deluxe edition of “The Things We Leave Unfinished” by Rebecca Yarros is now available. This book follows Georgia Stanton, who returns to her hometown after a painful divorce and discovers her great-grandmother Scarlett’s unfinished romance novel. As she collaborates with best-selling author Noah Harrison to complete the manuscript, their relationship develops alongside the historical love story of Scarlett and her World War II pilot, Jameson. “The Things We Leave Unfinished” is also available digitally.

The Lenna Lewis Slagle Children’s Library has these new junior titles “Free the Dinosaurs” by Steve Behling, “Double Cross Down Under” by Marianne Hering and “Breakout” by Christina Wyman. Some of the newer easy books are “Aya Has Never Seen a Bear” by Gerelchimeg Blackcrane, “Howdy Partner” by Steve Breen, “Clyde in Plain Sight” by Graham Annable and “Biscuit’s Puppy Sleepover” by Alyssa Satin Capucilli.
“Mother’s Day” is the theme for Storyhour on May 5, 2026. Storyhour is held from 10 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday throughout the year for preschool-aged children.
