Funeral services for Georgie (Grammar) Lee, 90, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 6, 1992, in the Chapel of Neuhardt Funeral Home in Billings, Mont. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Lee died April 3, 1992. She had been a resident of Shelby (Mont.) Nursing Home for several years.

They farmed several different places. She also ran a store and was postmistress at Jireh from 1936 to 1944.

She and Enos lived in Lusk, then Lance Creek. Later they moved to Billings to be closer to their children. Then they moved back to Buffalo, Wyo., for a few years. When her husband died, she moved back to Billings and eventually to Shelby to be with her daughter.

She is survived by one son, James G. Lee of Billings; one daughter, Bessie Denny of Shelby; one sister, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, two brothers and four sisters.

NIOBRARA COURT HOUSE SUPPLIES BOTH LICENSE AND MARRYING PERSON

The Lusk Standard, January 28, 1921

Up at the Niobrara court house you can get a marriage license, a minister to tie the knot and have the certificate of marriage recorded while you wait. Then, if not satisfied you can turn around and apply for a divorce, all without going outside the building. Handy, huh?

The treasurer's office was the background for a marriage on Friday last (January 21) when Mr. Enos E. Lee and Miss Georgiana Grammer, both  of Keeline, were united in the bonds of wedlock, while girls employed in the various court house offices looked on enviously. Rev. Blenkarn, assistant county treasurer, officiated.
The happy couple were supported by Mrs. Gladys Lee, sister-in-law of the groom, and Orin Lee, father of the groom, also of Keeline.
