James Sheldon Dies in Laramie
James Alford Sheldon, 54, Laramie, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Striker Mortuary. Burial was in the Green Hill Cemetery.
He was born April 11, 1916, in Wheatland. He was a consulting engineer with Banner and Associates in Laramie, a member of the Wyoming Engineering Society, the Gem City Lodge No. 52, Korein Temple, Laramie Shrine Club and B.P.O. Elks No. 582.
Survivors include his widow Catherine of the family home; two daughters, Mrs. Jamie Morton and Carol Sheldon, both of Laramie; two sisters, Mrs. H. L. Worthington and Mrs. P. W. Patterson both of Casper and one grandchild.
Mrs. Sheldon is a daughter of the late Leonard Christian and a sister of Mrs. Earl Hagerman of Greybull and Mrs. Ted Lohr of Lusk.
