Funeral For Mrs. Caroline Miller Held Here Fri.

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Miller who died September 15 at Stover, Mo., were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Peet Mortuary in Lusk. The Rev. Thomas Jacobsen, of Crawford, Nebr., interim Pastor for St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Lusk officiated. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Richard Korns furnished organ music and accompanied Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Dean Glandt as they sang "Bless Be The Tie That Binds" and "I'm But a Stranger Here."

Casket bearers were Martin Glandt, Art Schnose, Bill Bredhauer, Emil Klemke, Fred Bertram and Archie Huey.

Caroline Willemine Iwanick was born in Schwerin, Germany November 3, 1877. She came from Germany to Sioux City, Iowa in 1895. In 1899 she married Frederich William Miller. They moved to Stuart, Nebr., in 1912 and came to Wyoming October 3, 1914. They homesteaded 14 miles southwest of Keeline, where she spent most of her life. For the past 20 years she made her home with her children. At the time of her death she was staying with her son Erich Miller of Stover.

Mrs. Miller was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church and at the time of her death was a member of St. Paul's in Lusk.

She was the mother of seven children, six of whom survive.

Her husband, one daughter, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren died previously.

Survivors are four sons, Erich of Stover, Harry of Douglas, Paul of Idaho Falls, Ida., Otto of Cora, Wyo., two daughters, Hedwick Heins of Torrington and Hulda Mahnke of Keeline; 26 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; one sister, Emilia who lives in Germany; numerous nieces and nephews.
