Lee Miller Dies Sunday

Rosary for Lee G. Miller, 74, of Casper was recited at the Bustard Funeral Home Tuesday with the Mass for Christian Burial celebrated at 9:30 this Wednesday morning at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Mr. Miller died Sunday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Lee G. Miller was born March 28, 1900 at Lusk, where he was reared and attended schools. During World War I he served in the U. S. Army Medical Corps in France. After his discharge, Miller went to Casper and in 1923 established the city's first used car lot.

In 1939 he opened the Hudson agency, which he ran until 1951, when he moved to Colorado Springs to open a similar agency.

He retired in 1958 and he and his wife moved to Phoenix, Ariz. living there until June 1972, when they returned to Casper.

He married Genevieve Marie Fitzgerald in 1925 and she died in 1973.

Miller was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, past president of the Wyoming Automobile Dealers Association, past president of the Casper Automobile Dealers Association and past president of the Highway 20-26 promotion.

Survivors include two sons, Lee and William both of Casper, three brothers William D. Miller of Lusk, Thomas O. Miller of Phoenix and Donald Miller of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters Mrs. Genevieve Johnson, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Helen Lieurance, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Virginia Thompson, Lincoln, Nebr. and six grandchildren. One sister and four brothers died previously.
