Sam Coen, Lusk Resident Since 1929, Dies Sun.

Funeral service is being held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel for Saumel A. Coen, 81, who died Sunday at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper.

The service will be conducted by the Rev. C. J. Cunningham of Casper and the Rev. Michael Boswk of Guernsey, both ministers of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Mrs. Judson Watson, organist is accompanying Tim Johnson soloist as he sings "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden".

Burial is in the Lusk Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Clarence Mason, L. T. Bonner, Bob Packard, Enos Lee, Ralph Berg, Fred Hansen and Gilbert Brinckerhoff.

Casket bearers are Marshall Deimer, Clifford Ferris, Howard Haworth, Roger Bonsell, Bill Packard, and Dan Packard.

Samuel Arthur Coen, son of Richard Coen and Hanna Minerva Nesler, was born on March 11, 1891, in Broken Bow, Neb. He married Edith Gilson December 17, 1910, at Bassett, Neb.

Mr. Coen was a section foreman for the railroad, beginning work in 1915 in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming. In 1929 the family moved to Lusk. Mr. Coen retired in 1958. He was a pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy for several years serving the church at Lusk, Manville and Keeline.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; four sons, Garold of Keeline, Gorman of San Jose, Calif., Gale of Prineville, Ore. and Sam of Rock Springs, Wyo.; a daughter Pearl Smalley of Burbank, Wash.; one sister, Mina Templeton of Dennison, Colo., thirteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
