Dewitt Lamb Services Are Held Saturday

Final rites for Dewitt Lamb were held at the Peet Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with Richard Scott of the Church of Christ in charge.

Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, organist, accompanied Mrs. Marian Fosher, Lana Lamb, and Linda Vargason as they sang "How Great Thou Art" and Mrs. Fosher and Wayne King singing "Beyond The Sunset." Pallbearers were Dean Fosher, Ronnie Fosher, Jack Lamb, Jerry Lamb, Gary Lamb and Bill Denney. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Euington DeWitt Lamb was born in Linn County, Iowa, February 18, 1875. He lived for some years in Northern Nebraska where he married Miss Harriet Vargason February 3, 1897. The family moved to Redmond, Ore. in 1908. In 1909 they drove a team and wagon to Lusk. In 1914 they homesteaded ten miles south of Manville where they made their home for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Harriet, nine children: Ezra, Carlsbad, N. Mex.; Lyle, Midwest; Aaron, Billings, Mont.; Ira and Norman, Lusk; Mrs. Wilma Richardson, Woodburn, Ore.; Mrs. Evona Hollaway, Crescent City, Calif.; Mrs. Neva Chippley. Newburg, Ore.; and Vernal Fosher, Lusk; two brothers, C. M. Lamb, Longview Wash., and Dr. W. E. Lamb, Lincoln, Nebr.; 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

DeWitt Lamb Dies Tuesday Morning

DeWitt Lamb, 85, a resident of the Manville area for many years, died Tuesday morning in Evanston from the infirmities of old age.

He is survived by his wife; nine children, including Ira Lamb of Lusk and N. V. Lamb and Mrs. H.A. Fosher of Manville; two brothers, 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Peet Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
