Mother of John Rice Dies in Nebraska
Mr. and Mrs. John Rice left on Tuesday for Newcastle, Neb., to attend the funeral services of the former's mother, Mrs. Johanna Rice.
Mrs. Rice was 80 years of age and had been in poor health for several years. She died Monday, Jan. 21, at Ponca, Neb., but the services are to be held at Newcastle, Neb., on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
Mr. and Mrs. John Rice visited at the home of the deceased last October.
