Fullerton Dies

The funeral for Ivan I. Fullerton, former Lusk resident, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Peet Mortuary Chapel.

Ivan Fullerton, 70, was buried Saturday

The funeral for Ivan I. Fullerton, 70, was Jan. 14 at the Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk. Fullerton died Jan. 10 at Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper.

Fullerton was born Aug. 9, 1907 at Atkinson, Neb. His parents moved to a homestead north of Jireh when he was a small boy. He attended school in Jireh and Manville.

March 1, 1934 he married Clara Jo Rice at Harrison, Neb. He worked in the oil field at Lance Creek and operated a ranch until 1942, when he left Lusk. He attended an auctioneer's school in Kansas City and was an auctioneer for several years in Powell. He later moved to Riverton and worked at the Iron Mine in South Pass for two years. Since 1949 he has been a self employed building contractor.

Ivan was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Riverton and held an office in the Lutheran Laymen's League.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Beryl, Lysle, Donald and Ernest; and one sister, Reba Elkins.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Jo of Riverton; two sons, Glenn Fullerton of Casper and Gary Fullerton of Riverton; three daughters, Arlene Good of Columbia Falls, Mont., Bonnie Schuel of Ontario, Calif., and Carla A. Chun of Corona, Calif. He is also survived by two sisters, Hazel Carpenter of Powell and Edith Bone of Lusk; other friends and 16 grandchildren also survive.

The Rev. Robert Oberheu of Riverton and the Rev. Beauferd Anderson of Lusk officiated at the funeral. The organist was Ruth Hahn and the sons "Jesus Savior Pilot Me" and "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" were sung by Patty Leno, Kathy Doctor, Barb Hahn and Debra Doctor.

Pallbearers were Keith Stone, Harold Summers, Dale Fullerton, Donald Bone, Jim Groves and W. T. Bredthauer.

Burial was at the Lusk Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Terra Bella children's Home or the Lutheran Hour.
