Concluding Rites for George "Bud" R. Price, Wednesday; Dies From Injuries Received in Accident in The Dalles, Ore.

Final services were held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Chapel of the Peet Funeral Home for George Richard (Bud) Price, former rancher of the Glendo community, who for the past several years has resided in Spokane, Washington. Rev. Otha B. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lusk, officiated at the services.

Two vocal selections, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Some Glad Morning" were sung by Mrs. Ab DeCastro and Mrs. Otha B. Holcomb, with Mrs. Judson P. Watson presiding at the organ.

Interment was made in the family plot, in the Lusk Cemetery with Gene Bass, Clayton Russell, Kent Hughes, J.C. Bright, Bob Dailey and Carl Fritz all of Glendo bearing the remains to their final resting place.

George Richard Price, the son of Moses Burlington and Minnie Elizabeth Price, was born October 18, 1915 at Wagoner, Oklahoma and passed away due to injuries received while working as a tree surgeon Friday, March 30, 1956 at 10 a.m. at the Dalles, Oregon.

He leaves his wife, Jenny Price; four children, George, 18 years, Grace, 16; Diane, 12, and Jean, 11. The residence of the Price family of George's death was in Spokane, Washington where he was employed by the Eastern Tree Company.

One brother and five sisters also remain, they are, Lawrence Price, Coweta, Okla., Nell Slebert of Denver, Colo.; Jewell Price of Dallas, Texas; Hazel Smith of Casper, Wyo.; Estela Antenucct, Pennsylvania; and Dorothy Peltz of Alliance, Nebraska.

Both his father and his mother preceded him in death.

George spent most of his life in the State of Wyoming and resided around Glendo.

His age at the time of his death was 40 years, 5 months, and 12 days. He attended First Baptist Church, Spokane, Washington, and made his profession of Christianity three weeks before going from this life.

Besides his family he leaves many friends, other than a host of relatives.

Relatives attending final services from distant points, other than the immediate family, included Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Fullerton and family, Riverton, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rice and Karen, Chadron, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith and family of Casper, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Siebert and family, Denver, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Peltz of Alliance, Nebr.

George Price Dies Friday From Result Of Tree Accident

George Richard Price, 40, of Spokane, Wash. died Friday at The Dalles, Ore. from injuries received while working as a tree surgeon. A falling limb crushed him.

Services were held this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Funeral Home with Rev. Otha B. Holcomb, pastor of the Lusk Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Lusk cemetery.

Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Holcomb sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Some Glad Morning". Mrs. J. P. Watson was the organist.

Casket bearers were Gene Bass, Clayton Russel, Kent Hughes, Hap Bright, Bob Deaeley and Clark Fritz.

George Price was born October 18, 1915 at Wagoner, Okla., the son of Moses Burlington and Minnie Elizabeth Price. He lived most of his life in Glendo prior to moving to Spokane. He was working away from home at the time of his death. His wife was the late Clara Fullerton, daughter of Mrs. John Rice of Lusk.

Survivors include his wife, Jenny Price; four children, George, Grace, Dianne and Jean all of the family home; one brother, Lawrence Price of Coweta, Okla.; and five sisters, Nell Siebert, Denver; Jewell Price, Dallas, Texas; Hazel Smith, Casper; Estella Antenucci, Pennsylvania; and Dorothy Peltz of Nebraska.
