Gladys Stellpflug

Gladys Erlewine Stellpflug, age 80, of Lusk died on June 23rd in Lusk, Wyoming.

Gladys was born on October 8, 1935, at Lusk and was one of a set of triplets born to Glenn "Moon" and Iris Lohr Erlewine. She was raised and educated in Lusk graduating from Lusk High School in 1954.

Gladys interests were many. She worked in the dry cleaning business in Casper and Torrington, Wyoming and Lafayette, Colorado, had a ceramic business and in later years owned and managed a motel in Guernsey. She was avid at knitting and crocheting and delighted in giving away caps, scarves etc., to charitable organizations. She could frequently be found at a bazaar with her product or running a concession stand. She enjoyed working with animals and gardens at their Fort Laramie area farm.

A believer in natural remedies for body maintenance and healing she used and sold Nikken magnetic products, health and body products made using natural oils and Life Vantage products designed to help people achieve their goals of healthy living through a combination of scientifically validated products.

She is survived by two children, Marilyn Kay Morgan and Lloyd D. Packard. Five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Triplet sister, Garnet Heckert, brother Ted Erlewine, and nieces Terry Davis, Donna Lloyd, Brenda Erlewine, Iris Kegley and Esther Peterson.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, triplet brother Glenn, sister Betty Golden and an infant sister Terry, nephew Byron Golden and a niece Barbara Golden.

In respect of her request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and a family gathering will be held when the ashes are buried.

Memorials are suggested to the family, Lusk Elks Maintenance Fund or the VFW Auxiliary Children's Fund.

Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of the arrangements.
