Andrew Johnson Dies Here Wed.

Andrew E. Johnson, 96, of Fosston, Minn., died in the Niobrara Memorial Hospital last Wednesday afternoon of a heart attack. Mr. Johnson suffered an attack Monday and was taken to the hospital. He had come to Lusk to spend the winter months with his daughter, Mrs. Agnes Burge and Mrs. Lyle Berry.

Funeral services were held at the Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston Monday afternoon.

Mr. Johnson was born in Whoston, Minn. January 4, 1864. When he was 19 he homesteaded in the Fosston area. Two years later he married Miss Louise Larson, who had recently come to this country from Norway. They were the parents of eight children, the oldest son died in infancy and a daughter died when she was eighteen. He was a charter member of the Kingo Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his six children, four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Schroeder of Belle Fourche, S. Dak., Mrs. L. S. Shippers, Black Duck, Minn.; Mrs. Burge and Mrs. Berry of Lusk; two sons, Albert and Oscar both of Fosston; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
