Edith Lindley Funeral Service

Funeral service was held Saturday at the Peet Chapel for Mrs. Edith Bell Lindley, 81, who died April 4 at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Jacob Collins, Open Bible Church conducted the service.

Billie Parks, a granddaughter, accompanied Bobbie Parks, a great granddaughter, as she sang "Wayfaring Stranger" and "How Great Thou Art."

Casket bearers were Fred Sullivan, Bert Kaper, Clifford Cox, Ralph Berg, Louis Bowen, and Floyd Alexander. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Edith Bell Lindley was born August 23, 1891, at Belcoe, Mo. to Calvin and Ida Mae Cullison.

She was married to Clifford Gray Lindley Dec. 23, 1914, at St. Joseph, Mo. They moved to Wyoming in 1918 and settled on a homestead near Shawnee. They moved to Manville in 1924 and for the past 25 years she has resided in Lusk.

She was a member of The Open Bible Church of Lusk.

Her husband, Clifford, died April 25, 1969, and three brothers and one sister died previously.

Survivors include her children, Mrs. Zola Wilson of Shelton, Wash., Mrs. Doris Alexander of Manville, Mrs. Lois Knee of Hazelton, Ida., Roger Lindley of Newcastle, and Mrs. Marjorie Lee of North Platte, Neb. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Leah Winder of Lusk.
