Funeral services for Pearl M. Roberts were held Monday, December 15, 1997 at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk at 10:00 a.m. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Chadron, Nebraska at 2:00 p.m.

Pearl M, Roberts died Saturday at Poplar Living Center in Casper, WY.

Pearl Marie Langdon, daughter of Wesley and Maria Jane Langdon was born near Centerville, Iowa on June 15, 1901. She grew to womanhood in Iowa. She moved to Kansas City, Kansas with her parents in 1917 where she worked in the telephone office in Kansas City, Missouri.

In 1918 Pearl moved with her parents to Crawford, NE. There she worked in the telephone office until she married Clifton W. Percy on July 23, 1920. To this union was born one daughter, Ruth Ellen Percy, on January 14, 1922. Her husband and daughter preceded her in death. She moved to Kansas City after her husband's death and worked for Inter Collegiate Press.

On January 2, 1962 she married Rulo Roberts and moved to Lusk, Wyoming. Mr. Roberts died on Dec. 2, 1975 at the hospital in Torrington, WY.

Pearl helped to organize the hospital Auxiliary in Lusk.

Pearl is survived by step-daughter, Mary Hoblit of Lusk; three grandchildren; Kristine Martin of Lusk, Ken Percy and Steven Percy, both of Casper, WY; seven step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Bader Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
