F. A. Swanson Dies Thursday
Frederick A. Swanson, 75, of Lusk died Thursday afternoon in the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for the past several months.

Frederick Alexander Swanson, son of Andrew and Lena Swanson, was born April 16, 1884 at Omaha.
He came to Niobrara County in 1903 to live with his sister, Mrs. Frank Reinecke. In 1910 he homesteaded 3 1/2 miles southwest of Lusk and lived there until 1948 when he sold the ranch and moved to Lusk.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Reinecke and Mrs. Nettie Knittle of Lusk and a brother, Valdy Swanson of Santa Rosa, Cal. His parents and 8 brothers and sisters previously died.
